Business Development Manager - Dealer

POSITION PROFILEThe Business Development Manager Dealer supports the Dealer network and is focused on developing, managing and growing Services Revenue within the Dealer Channel.
This position provides oversight and management of the end-2-end support for Dealers throughout the value chain.
This position develops strategic relationships with Dealer Principles and Senior Management aligning Champs.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide leadership driving the Ricoh engagement process in the software and services sales solution design engagement for the dealer team/ChamPSAdheres to the Ricoh Sales, Design, and Implementation guidelinesActs as the National subject matter expert in Ricoh's ChamPS portfolio to the dealer teamDeveloping a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and dealer satisfactionCreates business strategies to facilitate Services growth within the Dealer ChannelPresent to and consult with Dealer Principles, mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing / growing Services Revenue thru the Dealer channel via the Champs Program.
Attend dealer functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
Work effectively with Dealer Principles and Senior Managers to develop long term strategic relationships.
Work with the Ricoh Dealer sales team, marketing staff, and other managers to achieve established Services revenue goals and implement business development initiatives that maximize and grow.
Identify opportunities for Dealer focused campaigns, services that will lead to an increase in Services Revenue.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the Champs Program unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Manage Services Design team support and alignment to ChamPS requestsDesign and participate in solution strategy to support the Dealer team as appropriateOversee the request and assignment activities across pre sales in support of ChamPSFunction as management sponsor in ChamPS Area Professional Services opportunitiesResponsibility for pre sales support of ChamPS for revenues and profitability aligned to the dealer teamDrives education and awareness with the Dealer team to ensure they are competent and leading the effort with the dealers.
Participate in the launch of solutions and technology offerings for ChamPSProvide sales assistance where necessary to Dealer personnelAligns the ChamPS/dealer activities with the engagement model process and tools to support requests and assignments as close to the direct activities as possibleWork with Strategic Marketing to provide presentations and trainings as feedback on the offerings and collateral from the ChamPS dealersWork with the management staff on implementing new policies and procedures to support ChamPSPerforms other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)Requires 4-8 years experience in the areas of software sales, solutioning, implementation, or support services.
Requires 1-2 years experience as a Sales rep; quota measurementRequires completion of a four-year degree and/or knowledge typically gained through attainment of a 4-year degree.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
