Oracle Applications Database Administrator (DBA) Position Description CGI Federal is looking for an Oracle Applications Database Administrator (DBA) for our Sacramento, CA location. The Oracle Apps DBA will Work with a team of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Applications DBAs in the install, support, and upgrade of a multi-instance EBS 12.1.3 environment. Candidate will support, upgrade, and maintain the Oracle technical stack (Database 11g/12c, 10g AS, and WebLogic 11g/12c) running on Oracle Exalogic, Exalytics, and Exadata. Your future duties and responsibilities Install, configure, and tune Oracle EBS R12 on Linux platforms (Oracle Linux and/or Red Hat) Clone and refresh release 12 instances Setup and configure parallel concurrent processing Patch Oracle EBS and database (one-off patches, patchsets, CPUs/SPUs, PSUs, and RPUs) Use utilities such as adop, adadmin, adpatch, adctrl, adrelink and admerge. Perform release 12 system administration tasks such as creating applications users, registering forms, menus, functions, responsibilities and concurrent programs, creating custom applications and installing printers. Maintain Oracle Workflow and manage and troubleshoot business flows, setup, and configuration of workflow mailer. Implement and maintain AutoConfig Use Oracle Applications Manager to perform administrative tasks Maintain EBS configuration files and profile options Setup multi-node with shared APPL_TOP architecture using AutoConfig Upgrade EBS applications and databases from one major version to another Troubleshoot issues with forms, Apache, concurrent programs, and concurrent managers Working effectively with developers, system administrators, and end users to resolve issues Perform Oracle database related daily maintenance tasks. Create disaster recovery test plans and execute against them periodically Setup of database and applications monitoring using OEM, shell scripts, and other monitoring tools Install and configure OBIEE and Hyperion environment Write, edit, and troubleshoot Linux scripts Use RMAN and Enterprise Manager for backup and recovery Integrate Oracle EBS applications with Microsoft AD Required qualifications to be successful in this role The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years experience in installing, configuring, updating, and maintaining Oracle databases and Oracle applications. A Bachelor's degree is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. Willingness to learn and support new application modules and technologies Knowledge of standard project management and milestone based task management Ability to work in a multi-project environment and support multiple internal departments Knowledge of industry best practice approaches and standards Ability to multi-task and effectively work with a geographically dispersed technical team At CGI, we're a team of builders. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
