RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers, directs and coordinates activities of patient care within maternity and newborn service areas.
Annual deliveries about 850 Total number of FTEsabout 80 L & D has at least 4 antepartum rooms, 2 LDRs and an OR NICU has 11 beds but runs an Average Daily Census (ADC) about 3-4 Post -Partum is licensed for 28 beds but does couplet care with an ADC of about 4-5
Education/Certificates/Licenses:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; baccalaureate degree, Masters preferred. Currently licensed as a professional nurse in state. 5
years of Acute Hospital Clinical Nursing required. Three to Five years of Management experience in area of specialty. BLS/ACLS or other certification in Specialty area required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
