We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team.
As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen.
This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand and ensure all dishes return to their proper places.
- Ensure all dishes and utensils are cleaned and sanitized properly - Assist with food preparation and handling as needed - Support the kitchen team with various tasks as assigned - Assists in packing and loading equipment for catering events - Assists in setting up prep areas with sanitizer buckets - Maintain and clean/ dry floor throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) - Knowledge of basic food safety guidelines - Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors - Must have a reliable way of commuting to work to be on time on scheduled days Skills:
- Familiarity with food handling and preparation techniques - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Knowledge of bussing procedures in a restaurant setting - Experience in catering or hospitality is beneficial - Basic cooking skills are an advantage At our company, we value our employees and offer competitive pay rates, opportunities for career advancement, and a positive work environment.
